Does anyone know where tears never cried go?

Can someone tell me where the lump in your

throat goes when it does not produce a sound?

Is there a logical understanding for such a powerful

sense of loss; a loss imposed for no understandable reason.

If you never cry a tear, does it remain dormant in your soul?

Waiting for a painful moment to burst free, silent or wild.

Do tears never cried leave you longing for the release only

a good cry can bring?

I often wonder, where my tears went when I was too hurt

to let them flow.

I suppose the answer comes in moments when you cry, and don’t know

why you are crying.
