We The People

Where have our voices gone? We sent all of you the US Congress and the US Senate to do what you promised you would before we elected you. Instead, you are walking around with your tales tucked tight between your legs. If you cannot attempt to perform your duties for the good of America, resign. Most of you have been in Congress or the Senate for far too long, anyway. You are afraid of change, so you give special interest groups your undivided attention while we the people suffer. Many of you were in the office long before 45 was elected. I will not sully the word President on him. Instead of standing by the oaths, all of you took, you have allowed him to bend you over and have his way with you. There is an epidemic occurring all over America, White nationalists, and other hate-mongers are showing up in malls, schools, churches, softball fields, Rallys, music festivals, and more. Taking the lives of the people, 45 demonizes. What will it take for you to stop the bleeding? Why are we burying children and young parents, grandmothers, grandfathers, aunts and uncles, husbands and wives, and siblings? When will you, as our representatives, stand up like men and women and do your damn job? The NRA contributes heavily to your campaigns, so in return you to do their bidding, but remember they are not on the street, protecting you or your families. We are all at the mercy of these attack dogs. They are a self-serving entity of leeches none of you know how to handle! If you are afraid to stand up to the NRA, then stand up and get out of the office. It is a privilege to serve your constituents, not a burden for us to bear. Perhaps you should retake your oath of office.

If watching men, women, and children gunned down does not motivate you to do something positive and right, maybe being sworn in again will force you to see the damage caused by 45 when he stated: “THERE WERE GOOD PEOPLE ON BOTH SIDES.” A woman died, and all of you swept it under the rug like a dark family secret! I like to think you sit in your office and cry because you realize you are wrong for allowing this to happen. Will it take your wife, or your child dying for you to become angry enough to stand up and exact change? The words below are your commitment to us that you will defend us against all threats, foreign and domestic. Do you see the terrorism going on in America?

45 is a threat! He has damaged our country incomprehensibly in the two years he has been in office; he has tainted the office and made a mockery of our values around the world. Resigning from office does not help America. Each of you are cockroaches who scurry for dark places when 45 speaks. He is nothing more than an impetuous child with a new toy, and we, as citizens of this country, are the toy! We are the laughingstock of the world. Every time he says he has done more than any other president before him, there is involuntary gagging heard around the world. However, all of you are still sucking up to him! You must love the taste of Tums!

What do you tell your wives, husbands, and children when you go home, and they ask why you have done nothing? Do you say it’s complicated? Is it that complicated, or are you afraid to stand up and be adults deciding what is necessary for the good of America? It is embarrassing that each of you has allowed a crook to take our country hostage. A rogue who has obstructed justice frequently is riding shotgun over the republican party. You don’t get capitalization because that, to me, is a sign of respect! He has taken the soul of the republicans and made you pathetic. If you can not stand up to 45, get out of the way so somebody worthy can. You took the oath of office seen below, to uphold the ideas and will of the people. I submit to you; you are failing us horribly. Mass shootings have reached 292 this year. What do I say to my family when they do not want to go to a movie or Walmart? These are every day, places that should not evoke fear. We should not go to church wearing black clothing just in case a shooter walks in and opens fire, and we have dressed appropriately for our funerals! This issue is not a black thing or a white thing or any other color that makes America the melting pot of the world. You have allowed our society to become a festering sore poked by white supremacists, and their leader in the white house! If none of you can do the will of the people, GOODBYE!

Oath of Office for Senators and Congress

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

If you remember taking this oath, uphold it or pack your bags and take your walk of shame, you sure as hell earned it with your lack of duty and honor! You follow a court jester knowing he will do foolish things and turn your back on us when we ask you to do the right thing. We are tired of waiting for the shell of the people you used to be to come back!
